Seller's description

One of the best sounding LG models we have ever gotten in, this '49 example could not be cooler. Super clean and with no funny business, this guitar has survived the decades well, with no cracks or breaks anywhere. Besides light TLC like a recent neck reset and reglued bridge, this LG-2 is ready for many more years of playing. With solid wood construction and X-bracing on this compact Gibson flattop, this LG is everything you would ever need in a vintage 40's acoustic guitar. The standout feature of this guitar is the original bill of sale all the way from 1949, making this LG rare and one of the best examples out there right now, do not miss out! Serial #1398, comes with a non original case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note. Specs: Neck reset Tuners original, replaced buttons Bridge reglued, replaced bridge pins Bridge and saddle finished over w/ clear coat
