Seller's description

The Fender Japan TL52-65SPL is a beautifully executed Made-in-Japan Telecaster reissue based on the iconic 1952 Tele design — built at the Fujigen Gakki factory with the precision and care that made Fender Japan's output so highly regarded by players and collectors alike. The TL52-65SPL is a special model in the lineup, featuring an ash body with that natural resonance and harmonic complexity the Telecaster was born with, a maple neck with a vintage-radius maple or rosewood fingerboard, and single-coil pickups that nail that classic Tele twang — biting and articulate on the bridge, warm and expressive on the neck. The floating tremolo system, brass saddles, and classic Tele hardware all contribute to an instrument that is as comfortable in a country honky-tonk as it is in a rock and roll club. Note: this example has a non-original bridge fitted. Fender Japan launched in 1982 and quickly earned a reputation for producing some of the finest reissue instruments in the world. The TL52 series was among their most beloved offerings — a faithful homage to Leo Fender's original 1952 Telecaster design, built with vintage-correct materials and construction. The 65SPL designation marks this as a special run within that series, and these instruments are now sought-after collector's pieces in their own right. A superb guitar with genuine working player credentials.
