Seller's description

A seventies classic with the unmistakable feel of a true vintage Telecaster. This 1978 Fender Telecaster tells an important part of electric guitar history, capturing the simplicity and character that made the Tele an icon. The ash body shows its grain beautifully through the 3 Color Sunburst finish, which has naturally aged into a deep chocolate shade around the edges. There are some dings and scratches on the body, but the instrument remains in excellent condition for its age and plays with confidence. Both pickups are original and the pot codes date to 1979. The serial number of the guitar corresponds to 1978, which is completely consistent with Fender’s late seventies production habits where parts from consecutive years were commonly combined. With a weight of four point three two kilos this Tele has the solid and substantial feel that defined the era and it delivers the full and punchy seventies tone that players still seek out today. This Telecaster comes with a hardshell case and a TFOA passport.photos of: Actual Instrument
