Fender Custom Shop 1963 Telecaster Relic, with a 3A rosewood fingerboard in a Fiesta Red finish. New for 2024, Fender Custom Shop introduces the 1963 Telecaster Relic. A beautifully handcrafted reproduction of the Telecaster from Fender's golden age of the past, this guitar is a perfect blend of the characteristics of this period. The two-piece select alder body is artfully distressed in Relic Aged Olympic White, Fiesta Red, and Lake Placid Blue finishes and is paired with a rift-sawn maple neck with a '60s-style oval "C" shape and a rosewood fingerboard. With those iconic mids and the bite of the hand-wound Custom Shop Original Blackguard bridge pickup, and the crystal clarity of the hand-wound Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup, this guitar delivers classic Telecaster tone with amazing versatility. It features a 9.5" radius, 21 narrow frets (6105), Modern Tele wiring with Greasebucket tone circuit, 3-way pickup selector, 3-ply mint green pickguard, '58-'63 Tele bridge with steel saddles, vintage-style tuners, bone nut, and also includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and COA.
