Seller's description

Here we have a sweet vintage piece: a 1978/1979 Fender Precision Bass in Natural finish with rosewood fretboard and non-original Leo Quan Badass Bass bridge installed by the previous owner. There are a couple date references on this bass - it is not uncommon to see some overlap between a couple years as parts were pulled from the bin when a guitar was put together. The pots on this bass date to 1978 and the neck serial is nominally 1978, but the body is stamped 1979 so that would be when this bass left the factory. This guitar has been tested and is fully functional. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition, looking great for its age with some light checking as well as some scratches, dings, and scuffs around the body and good frets (see photos for general condition or ask for closer detailed shots). Comes with case.Guitar Showcase is a brick-and-mortar retail business, and so all of our inventory is subject to in-store display and may exhibit some signs of in-store playing or prior handling.
