From the listing
Here we have a Glas Customs Precision Bass inspired by the unmistakable late-’50s era, finished in heavily aged Fiesta Red with a gold anodized guard and maple neck. This bass was built alongside a matching Glas Customs Fiesta Red Stratocaster, sharing the same aged finish, gold guard and visual direction. Together they form a one-off matched set, although each instrument is available separately.Built and completed by hand in Los Angeles as part of the Glas Golden Era Collection, the aging, fretwork, wiring, assembly and final setup took place over approximately four to six months. It is not intended as a forensic museum replica. It is a piece of functional art created to capture the look, feel and direct response of a great late-’50s Precision Bass. The alder body wears a full Fiesta Red relic treatment, with broad areas of exposed wood, aged edges and scattered marks throughout. The wear is deliberately bold but remains cohesive across the body, neck, hardware and guard. At 8.4 lbs, it is relatively light for a full-scale Precision Bass and feels balanced and comfortable both seated and on a strap. The aged gold anodized pickguard gives the bass its defining late-’50s character, pairing perfectly with the warm maple neck and faded Fiesta Red finish. The aged control knobs, bridge and hardware complete the look without making the instrument feel overly decorative. The genuine Fender maple neck has a substantial vintage C profile, traditional 7.25" radius and 20 vintage-style frets. The fingerboard edges have been hand rolled, the nut hand finished, and the frets professionally dressed and polished for a smooth, naturally broken-in feel.A genuine set of Fender reverse-wind vintage tuners completes the period direction. These turn in the opposite direction from modern bass machines, just as players familiar with early Fender basses would expect. The bass is powered by a set of Arcane ’57 Experience split-coil pickups. Voiced around the classic late-’50s Precision sound,
