An instrument that does exactly what a good Tele should do: direct, dynamic and full of character. Here is the original text from Fender: “Bold, innovative and rugged, the Player Telecaster is pure Fender, through and through. The feel, the style and, most importantly, the sound – they're all there, waiting for you to make them whisper or wail for your music. Versatile enough to handle almost anything you can create and durable enough to survive any gig, this workhorse is a trusty sidekick for your musical vision.” The guitar is in excellent condition. It shows hardly any signs of use and only has a small finish crack at the neck pocket – a purely cosmetic flaw that is not unusual on bolt-on Fender necks. The hardware is also in very nice condition. The Modern C neck with its comfortable satin finish feels fantastic in the hand and offers excellent playability. Tonally, it does exactly what you would expect from a good Tele: clear, direct, punchy and with that unmistakable Tele twang. In short – it simply works. The factory fretwork, however, was not quite up to the standard we like to see. We therefore carefully leveled, recrowned and polished the frets and then gave the guitar a complete setup. It now plays exceptionally smoothly with an excellent action. A classic Fender Telecaster that not only looks the part, but also offers everything you would expect from a modern Tele in terms of playability.
