From the listing
Launched in 1950 as the “Broadcaster,” it wasn’t until a year later when Leo Fender dubbed his first-ever electric guitar design the “Telecaster” that it got its official name, and the model’s remained largely unchanged since. With its slab body, bolt-on neck design, and quintessential six-in-line headstock shape, the Telecaster has become an iconic go-to workhouse for amateur and professional guitar players, alike. Player II Series Series Named for their player-friendly features, Fender Player II Series instruments feature Modern “C”-shaped necks with rolled fingerboard edges, 9.5”-radius fretboards, and medium jumbo frets. Improving on the previous Fender Player Series launched in 2018, Player II series instruments feature aged plastic parts to add a touch of vintage charm, a new neck tint, and ClassicGear tuning machines for a more classic vibe—plus, never-before-used finishes inspired by vintage automotive colors! Highlights Modern “C”-Shaped Neck w/ Rolled Fingerboard Edges 22 Medium-Jumbo Frets ClassicGear Tuning Machines Aged Plastic Parts 9.5”-Radius Neck with Player II Neck Tint
