The fourth and last instrument in Leo Fender’s original standard guitar lineup and the only model of the four introduced in the 1960s, the Jaguar was envisioned as Fender’s top-of-the-line guitar, which set a high water mark in design and sound when it debuted in 1962. While many of these early models ended up collecting dust after the ‘60s surf-music wave crashed, the punk explosion of the ‘70s helped ensure the iconic status of these Fender models, creating a resurgence of interest around this model that’s sustained its popularity into the present day.Player II Series SeriesNamed for their player-friendly features, Fender Player II Series instruments feature Modern “C”-shaped necks with rolled fingerboard edges, 9.5”-radius fretboards, and medium jumbo frets. Improving on the previous Fender Player Series launched in 2018, Player II series instruments feature aged plastic parts to add a touch of vintage charm, a new neck tint, and ClassicGear tuning machines for a more classic vibe—plus, never-before-used finishes inspired by vintage automotive colors!HighlightsModern “C”-Shaped Neck w/ Rolled Fingerboard Edges22 Medium-Jumbo FretsClassicGear Tuning MachinesAged Plastic Parts9.5”-Radius Neck with Player II Neck TintGeneral: Brand Name: Fender Case Type: Case Not Included Hardware Color: Nickel/Chrome Made in: Made in Mexico Product Color: 3-Color Sunburst Series: Fender Player IIBody: Body Finish: Gloss Polyester Body Material: Alder Body Shape: JaguarNeck: Fingerboard Inlay: White Dot Fingerboard Material: Slab Rosewood Neck Finish: Satin Urethane Finish on Back of Neck with Gloss Urethane Headstock Face Neck Joint: 4-Bolt with "F" Logo Neck Material: Maple Neck Notes: 3/16" Hex Adjustment Neck Shape: Modern "C" Number of Frets: 22 Frets Nut Material: Synthetic Bone Nut Width: 1.65" (42mm) Side Marker Inlay: White Truss Rod: Single Action, Head AdjustElectronics: Bridge Pickup: Player Series Alnico 5 Jaguar Single-Coil
