1993–94 Fender Japan PB-57 ’57 Reissue Precision Bass MIJ – 2-Tone Sunburst – N038612Made-in-Japan Fender Precision Bass from the early 1990s, serial number N038612. This appears to be a PB-57 ’57 Precision Bass reissue and is consistent with the PB57-53 specification from this period. I have not removed the neck to verify the model stamp in the neck pocket/heel, so I am describing it accordingly rather than representing the exact sub-model as confirmed.Classic 2-tone sunburst finish with a maple neck/fingerboard, black dot markers, vintage-style reverse tuners, split-coil Precision Bass pickup, vintage-style bridge, white pickguard, and passive volume/tone controls.The bass is in good playing condition and presents very nicely overall, especially from the front. It has honest cosmetic wear from use, most notably finish chips and loss along portions of the lower body edge, along with scratches, scuffs and other smaller marks on the body. Please see the close-up photos, as I have tried to clearly document the significant cosmetic wear rather than hide it.The neck and fingerboard present well, and the bass is complete and ready to play.
