This second hand acoustic guitar is in great condition The Fender Newporter Special Mahogany is a distinctive electro-acoustic guitar that combines Fender's unmistakable styling with the warmth and character of an all-solid mahogany construction. Part of Fender's California Series, the Newporter features a mid-sized body shape that offers a comfortable playing experience without sacrificing projection or tonal depth. Its natural satin finish, elegant maple detailing and familiar Fender six-in-line headstock give it a look that stands apart from more traditional acoustic guitars. The all-solid mahogany body, comprising the top, back and sides, produces a warm, balanced sound with a strong midrange presence and a naturally smooth character. It responds particularly well to fingerpicking, delivering good note definition and clarity, while strummed chords have plenty of body and warmth. Quartersawn scalloped X-bracing helps the soundboard resonate freely, giving the guitar an expressive acoustic voice with impressive tonal depth. Playability is another strong feature. The mahogany neck has a comfortable Slim C profile, offering a familiar feel that will appeal particularly to electric guitar players moving across to acoustic.
