Seller's description

Limited Edition Shepard Fairey Telecaster Masterbuilt by Todd Krause in 2006. In 2005, the Fender Custom Shop partnered with Shepard Fairey (the artist behind the OBEY images) to create a limited edition of guitars - 6 Stratocasters and 7 Telecasters, each featuring unique artwork hand finished by Shepard Fairey. This one was built in 2006. I bought this guitar from a Fender dealer. I have only played it to hear its voice. Although this guitar is great as a guitar - Todd Krause is a master builder for a reason - Shepard Fairey's artwork on this guitar is amazing. The guitar features mostly 50’s Tele specs with a lightweight Ash body, Custom Shop pickups, and Nickel/Chrome hardware that has been given an aged effect. Although the guitar is considered "relic'd", it is not distressed. It is more of a closet classic look - i.e., looks vintage. It's in great shape. I also have a Stratocaster from the same series.
