Here's a rare deal: a player-grade 1968 Fender Jazz Bass. The first thing you might have noticed is the fact that the finish has been stripped down, baring a nice ash body. Based on the look of the neck pocket, it may have originally been black or perhaps sunburst, but no longer. It is particularly well set-up, and both plays and sounds pretty incredible. This bass is listed as good condition, weighed down mainly by the stripped finish. It also sports quite a few dings and scratches, indicating quite a bit of play. Though it seems to have been re-fretted, as the frets are perfectly intact, and it is entirely functionally sound. We've included pictures of the electronics, neck pocket, and neck heel for date codes, and all seem to make sense for a '68. The pickups also seem to be non-original, and most likely Seymour Duncans, based on the 1B sticker on the back of the bridge pickup.
