Seller's description

Fender Made in Japan Deluxe Jazz Bass V Kazuki Arai Edition – BlackThe Fender Made in Japan Deluxe Jazz Bass V Kazuki Arai Edition is the signature 5-string bass of Kazuki Arai, bassist of King Gnu and millennium parade. Originally introduced as a limited-production model in 2021, this updated version brings the core concept into Fender’s regular Made in Japan Artist lineup with a revised specification and more accessible positioning. The bass retains Arai’s custom-designed neck profile and compact Dinky-style body concept, combining familiar Jazz Bass ergonomics with a more modern feel. An ash body finished in Black is paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, while the Kazuki Arai “C” neck shape, 9.5" radius, and 22 Medium Jumbo frets provide a comfortable and contemporary playing response.A pair of Ultra Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass pickups is matched with an active/passive preamp system offering extensive tone shaping. The control layout includes pickup pan, treble, midrange, bass, passive tone, and an active/passive mini-toggle, allowing the instrument to cover both traditional Jazz Bass sounds and more modern active tones. The Gold Anodized Aluminum pickguard remains one of the model’s signature visual elements. A thinner secondary pickguard layer is installed underneath to preserve the appearance while providing a playing feel closer to a conventional multi-ply pickguard. The neck plate features a dedicated Kazuki Arai signature engraving, and a plain replacement neck plate is also included.SpecificationsGeneral Model: Deluxe Jazz Bass V Kazuki Arai Edition Series: Made in Japan Artist Color: Black Orientation: Right-HandedBody Body Material: Ash Body Finish: Gloss Polyester Body Shape: Jazz BassNeck Neck Material: Maple Fingerboard Material: Rosewood Neck Shape: Kazuki Arai “C” Shape Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" (241 mm) Scale Length: 34" (86.36 cm) Number of Frets: 22 Fret Size: Medium Jumbo Nut Material: Bone Nut Width: 1.875" (47.6 mm) Position Inlays:
