The Fender Japan JB-62 is a classic Jazz Bass inspired by the iconic 1962 specification, offering the authentic feel and tone that have made the Jazz Bass a favorite among players for decades. Produced around 2006–2008, this model features an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, delivering warm lows, punchy mids, and clear highs that suit virtually any musical style. Equipped with two traditional Jazz Bass single-coil pickups, the JB-62 offers a wide tonal range. By blending the individual pickup volumes, you can easily dial in everything from warm vintage tones to articulate, cutting sounds. Weighing 4.14kg, the bass provides excellent balance and is equally at home on stage, in the studio, or at rehearsal. Approximately 70% of the fret life remains, with a comfortable setup measuring 2.0mm on the treble side and 2.5mm on the bass side at the 12th fret. Please note that the front pickup cover has a crack, and the mounting screws have been replaced with non-original hardware. These cosmetic issues do not affect the instrument's playability. Overall, the bass remains in typical condition for its age.
