Fender Highway Series Parlour; Natural: Serial No: MXA2402407 | Second Hand The Fender Highway Series reimagines the traditional acoustic guitar for modern stage performance and studio applications. Moving past conventional dreadnought and parlour depth constraints, the series blends time-tested acoustic principles with electric guitar ergonomics. Designed as a crossover instrument for gigging musicians, it delivers full-range acoustic tone within an ultralight, feedback-resistant thinline platform. Constructed in Mexico, the instrument features a solid Sitka Spruce top coupled with a fully-chambered mahogany body measuring just 2.25 inches in depth. The bolt-on mahogany neck is shaped to a comfortable "C" profile with a satin urethane finish, featuring a 24.75" scale length, a 12"-radius Indian rosewood fingerboard, 20 narrow-tall frets, and Micro-Tilt neck-angle adjustment. Amplification is driven by an active Fishman Fluence Acoustic pickup system mounted discreetly at the soundhole, managed via top-mounted volume and contour controls. Key Features Chambered Mahogany Body: Lightweight, 2.25-inch body depth minimizes physical bulk while eliminating acoustic feedback at higher stage volumes. Tapered Floating X-Bracing: Proprietary internal architecture maximizes soundboard movement, allowing the solid spruce top to produce organic resonance twice its physical size. Solid Sitka Spruce Top: Premium tone-wood soundboard providing wide dynamic range, crisp articulation, and balanced frequency response. Fishman Fluence Pickup System: All-analog, curved magnetic soundhole pickup engineered specifically to deliver feedback-free acoustic realism without piezo harshness. Versatile Contour Control: Top-mounted rotary dial sweeps between a full, woody acoustic resonance and a focused, articulate voice tailored for dense mixes. Electric-Style Playability: Bolt-on neck, 12"-radius fingerboard, and sleek body bevels offer familiar hand positioning for electric guitarist
