Seller's description

Up for sale is a gorgeous 2018 Fender Custom Shop NAMM Limited Edition Super Custom Deluxe NOS Telecaster in Black Sparkle (Serial: CZ53568). This is not a standard Custom Shop production model; it is a limited-run event build featuring an unusual set of premium player-grade specifications and showpiece cosmetics. The guitar includes its original Certificate of Authenticity, the original Fender Shop Traveler, Custom Shop strap, original hardshell case, and Custom Shop goodies. The guitar sits in a rare class of Custom Shop builds: * NOS Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish: Unlike relic models where wear is artificially applied, this guitar features a pristine, un-aged nitro lacquer finish. Nitrocellulose is thinner than standard polyurethane, allowing the ash body to resonate beautifully while aging naturally over time. * Hand-Wound Twisted Tele Pickups: Wound specifically in the Custom Shop. These utilize taller Alnico V magnets (borrowed from Jazz Bass pickup architecture) to accommodate heavier wire. The result is a hotter, punchier output than standard vintage Telecaster pickups, delivering a distinct Stratocaster-like clarity in the neck position and increased midrange authority in the bridge. * Premium Hybrid Neck Profile: The neck features a ’65 Stratocaster “C” profile carved from maple, paired with a dark round-lam rosewood fingerboard. * Modern Radius & Fretwire: A 9.5" fingerboard radius combined with 22 narrow-tall 6105 frets. This provides a modern playing surface that allows for lower action and aggressive string bending without the "fretting out" associated with vintage 7.25" radiuses. * Upgraded Hardware: Equipped with a Custom Deluxe modern 6-saddle bridge for excellent intonation and superior sustain, paired with Sperzel locking tuners for excellent tuning stability. Condition, Setup & Provenance The instrument is in pristine condition with no finish checking, dings, or buckle rash. The guitar was recently professionally set up by Steve at Nomadic
