It's incredible how an instrument can inspire you! This '52 Telecaster from masterbuilder Dale Wilson is one of those guitars you simply don't want to put down. For us, it's definitely the ultimate reference Telecaster! The first "wow" moment comes as soon as you open the case. Superbly authentic aging and a fantastic "Dirty Aged Natural" look. Here Dale Wilson proves once again that he's the master of aging with more than 10(!) years of waiting time. When you finally pick up the guitar, pure playing joy erupts! The slightly thicker neck (.950-1.000") offers incredible resonance in combination with the ash body of this Telecaster. The 7.25"-9.5" compound radius, the "1951 U" neck profile, the slightly higher Narrow/Tall frets and a dream weight of 3040 grams ensure optimal playability. Even though the neck is a bit thicker it plays effortlessly and feels fantastic in the hand. The only thing that tops it all is the sound of this perfect Telecaster. The "Handwound Josefina Twisted Tele" pickups do a fantastic job. At the bridge, it's pure Tele — direct, wiry, fat with a great attack. And always smooth and never too bright. In the middle position, it's beautifully bell-like and great for clean and slightly overdriven sounds. At the neck, it's pure Blues. A fat, nuanced, bell-like Tele sound that's 100% convincing both clean and distorted. Tele at its best! This guitar from 2023 is in mint condition.
