Seller's description

The Fender Stratocaster made its groundbreaking debut in 1954, redefining the electric guitar with its sleek contours, innovative bridge design, and use of three single coil pickups. Originally available in both tremolo and hardtail configurations, the Strat quickly became a staple for musicians seeking comfort, versatility, and effortless playability. This Fender Custom Shop LTD 1954 Hardtail Stratocaster pays homage to this legendary first-year model, delivering vintage feel and tone with some modern tweaks - 9 1/2" radius and 6105 frets.  The hardtail bridge enhances sustain and tuning stability, adding an almost Tele-like response, while the Super Faded Aged 2-Color Sunburst finish—applied with the Custom Shop’s Heavy Relic treatment—exudes decades of road-worn character. Every detail, from the Fat 50s pickups to the comfortable-yet-chunky 70th Anniversary neck profile (.885-.980" with a 1.625" nut), captures the essence of an original Strat from Fender’s golden era. Built for discerning players and collectors alike, this Custom Shop creation embodies the soul of 1954 Strat - open, airy tones with an unmistakable feel, rich harmonic response, and superior craftsmanship.  Whether you're drawn to its historic significance or its pure tonal magic, this Hardtail Stratocaster is a true standout in Fender’s Custom Shop lineup.
