Seller's description

Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Telecaster Custom DLX Closet Classic - Aged HLE Gold w/ Aged Charcoal Frost Metallic Sides This 2026 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Telecaster is a seriously special take on one of Fender’s most iconic designs. Built with a Roasted Ash body and finished in a DLX Closet Classic treatment, it pairs an HLE top and back with Charcoal Frost Metallic sides for a look that is both sophisticated and wildly distinctive. The contrast between the natural HLE and metallic sides is framed by double tortoise binding, while the thick tortoise pickguard ties the entire aesthetic together. It is an unusually bold combination that manages to feel both vintage-inspired and completely fresh. The neck is every bit as impressive, featuring a gorgeous piece of  AAA Birdseye Maple and a Rosewood fingerboard, Medium Tint finish, clay dots, and a comfortable ’59 Esquire “C” shape. A 9.5"-12" compound radius and Medium Jumbo 6150 frets give it a familiar vintage feel with enough modern versatility for effortless bending and lead work. Under the hood, a set of TB Red Hot Tele pickups delivers the unmistakable punch and character you expect from a great Telecaster, while the 4-Way Mod 51 Nocaster control setup adds expanded tonal flexibility beyond the traditional Telecaster configuration. The hardware continues the blend of classic Fender character and carefully considered upgrades, with a ’58-’63 Tele bridge equipped with RSD saddles. Finished with a DLX Closet Classic treatment that has extreme checking, this Telecaster has the feel and attention to detail of a genuine Custom Shop collectible while remaining thoroughly equipped for the stage and studio. As a limited-edition 2026 model, its unusual finish combination, premium woods, distinctive tortoise appointments, and exceptional Custom Shop specification make this a Telecaster that stands out from virtually anything else in the lineup.
