The ash body is the same iconic shape and feel that launched a revolution in 1951. And the guitar's relic'd nitrocellulose finish looks just like and original would. But the guitar's all rosewood neck tells you that this instrument is something very different, with it's own soul to share. Custom Shop Fender electronics The engine that makes the Limited Edition '50s Thinline Tele Relic run is its pair of Fender Custom Shop hand-wound single-coil pickups. The neck pickup is Fender's popular "Twisted" Tele design, while the bridge pickup is a Blackguard Tele pickup that carries the sounds of the original guitars. Under the hood, these pickups are complemented with a modern Greasebucket tone circuit. This circuit completely removes the guitar's tone pot from the signal flow when turned all the way up.
