From the listing
The "Clarence White Telecaster 2-Color Sunburst," produced exclusively between 1994 and 2001. This is a Custom Shop reissue of the 1954 Telecaster reportedly owned by Clarence White, who bridged the gap between country music and rock 'n' roll through his work with the Kentucky Cornels and Mule Skinner, his session work at Nashville West, and later his time with The Byrds. Since this particular guitar was made in 1995, it is one of the earliest examples produced. Due to its labor-intensive specifications, it is a rare model with a limited production run. Overall, it shows minimal signs of use and is in good condition, with the protective film still intact on the pickguard. It faithfully reproduces iconic specifications, including the two-tone sunburst finish, the tortoiseshell pickguard (which was the final version after several design changes), the Parsons B-Bender—which allows for bending the second string via the strap pin—and the key tuners on the sixth and first strings, a feature commonly found on banjos. The body is made of ash, and the neck is a one-piece maple V-shape. The bridge saddles are made of brass for the 6th to 5th strings and the 4th to 3rd strings, and steel for the 2nd to 1st strings. The neck pickup is a Stratocaster single-coil. Unfortunately, the rear pickup was broken, so after we received the guitar, we replaced it with a Fender Custom Shop "'51 Nocaster Tele Pickup" and repaired the wiring. The neck is in excellent condition, and there is plenty of truss rod adjustment left. The frets show almost no wear, making this a great choice not only for collectors but also for active players. If you have any questions regarding Keith Tuner products, please feel free to contact us. It comes with the original tweed case and a certificate of authenticity. Serial Number: CW017 Neck Date: 12/28/94 Weight: 3.6 kg * This item is sold by Finest Guitars. As this is a consignment item, we are unable to transfer it to other stores. We appreciate your
