Niet alleen een fiesta red body maar ook een matchende headstock op deze schitterende Custom Shop Jazz Bas! Deze basgitaar, ook wel de J-Bass genoemd, werd in 1960 gelanceerd als het nieuwe "deluxe" bas model van Fender. De Jazz Bass kenmerkte zich door zijn slanke offset body, een bijzonder smalle en comfortabele hals en zogenaamde dual concentric "stacked" control potmeters waarmee een groot scala aan bruikbare en bijzonder fraaie bas geluiden tevoorschijn kon worden gehaald. De Jazz Bass werd meteen een succes, en dit prachtige instrument is inmiddels niet meer weg te denken uit de moderne muziekwereld.
