The Fender Custom Shop ’62 Jazzmaster Closet Classic in Silverburst takes one of Fender’s most distinctive offset designs and combines early-1960s inspiration with a selection of player-friendly Custom Shop specifications. This example features a quartersawn maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius, 21 medium-jumbo frets and a substantial Large “C” neck profile. Its pair of Flat Magnet Jazzmaster pickups provide the wide, articulate single-coil character that makes the Jazzmaster such a useful alternative to more conventional Fender designs. The Silverburst finish is presented with aged, cracked lacquer as part of the guitar’s vintage-inspired Closet Classic character, giving this Custom Shop instrument a distinctive appearance without trying to look factory fresh.
