This Used guitar is in Very Good++ Condition. It's essentially in Excellent condition but there are some small dings through the thin Nitro finish (front and back of body) - as seen in the last set of photos - that look like they were created from a cradle of a guitar stand. This is a thin nitro finish and, like the originals, show their wear more than modern poly finish guitars. These marks are just cosmetic, this is a fantastic guitar and your chance to get a majestic custom shop instrument for less!!The Fender Custom shop, headed by Ron Thorn, has produced another fantastic Telecaster. Weighs in at 7.6 pounds. This Telecaster is an excellent example of what makes the Fender Custom Shop so special; this is an extraordinary instrument in every aspect. The neck is superbly comfortable - satisfyingly chunky, but in a slim, nimble sort of way. The chocolate 3 tone sunburst is sublime, and the tones this Telecaster produce are absolutely stunning.  By the late 1950s, the Telecaster had firmly established its reputation as the premier workhorse guitar, but for the player seeking a guitar with the versatility of a Tele and a more distinct personality, the choices were few and far between. Enter the Telecaster Custom, which debuted in 1959, sporting an elegant double-bound body and alluring rosewood fingerboard – both firsts for the Telecaster. The Vintage Custom 1959 Telecaster Custom boasts the same refined look as the original, along with some rare and compelling features from the Tele's formative years that we felt modern players and vintage tone hounds alike would appreciate. It comes equipped with hand-wound '58 Tele single-coil pickups and Fat '50s wiring for wide-open Tele tone that can easily handle any playing situation.
