The Fender Custom Shop 1956 Stratocaster Hardtail Journeyman Relic offers a distinctive take on one of Fender's most iconic designs. Part of the 2026 Summer Collection, this Strat pairs the unmistakable feel of a mid-'50s Stratocaster with the increased sustain and resonance of a vintage-style hardtail bridge. Finished in a beautifully aged Dirty White Blonde Journeyman Relic lacquer over a lightweight Yes Sort two-piece off-center alder body, it delivers classic Fender character with a unique Custom Shop personality. The maple neck features a substantial 10/56 "V" profile, measuring .900" at the 1st fret and .980" at the 12th fret for an authentic vintage grip. A compound 7.25"-9.5" radius fingerboard, 21 Vintage Upgrade frets, and a dark tinted nitrocellulose lacquer finish provide vintage styling while offering a more accommodating playing experience for modern musicians.
