Seller's description

The Fender Custom Shop '52 Telecaster Journeyman is a premium instrument built to capture the spirit and craftsmanship of Fender's earliest designs while meeting the demands of modern players. Its ash body is finished in a Butterscotch Blonde Journeyman nitrocellulose lacquer, giving it an authentically aged look and feel. The thin nitro finish allows the wood to resonate more freely, improving sustain and tonal clarity, while also naturally evolving over time for a unique, individual patina. The rift-sawn maple neck offers stability, smooth playability, and a comfortable vintage-style feel. Its 9.5" fingerboard radius, 52-style "U" profile (.860" at the 1st fret and .920" at the 12th), and 21 narrow tall frets provide excellent control for both rhythm and lead playing. The 25.5" scale length ensures familiar Fender tension and snap, while the 1.650" nut width offers balanced spacing for both chord work and intricate lead lines. Every detail of this neck design contributes to a reliable and responsive playing experience that feels both classic and refined. Equipped with a hand-wound Loaded '51 Nocaster bridge pickup and a hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup, the '52 Telecaster delivers exceptional tonal range and versatility. The bridge pickup offers the iconic Tele twang with added output and dynamic response, maintaining clarity even at higher gain settings. The neck pickup is a hand-wound Twisted Tele, a design that delivers a higher output than traditional Telecaster pickups, with a hint of the sparkle and clarity associated with Stratocaster pickups. Together, they make this Custom Shop Telecaster an ideal choice for players seeking a professional-grade instrument that combines Fender's timeless tone with outstanding versatility and build quality.
