Product Details ________________________________ Fender Custom Shop 2007 Rosewood Telecaster Closet Classic That sound rang out from a London rooftop in 1969. The Rosewood Telecaster George Harrison held that day still captivates guitarists to this day - its beautiful grain and distinctive tone are the stuff of legend. This Fender Custom Shop Rosewood Telecaster brings that legend back to life. The neck uses a glued rosewood construction with no skunk stripe on the back, so the rosewood grain runs unbroken across the whole surface for a genuinely premium look. The body is also hollowed out for weight reduction, with a maple center block sandwiched inside - a distinctive construction all its own. That construction adds a touch of hollow-body air to rosewood's characteristically hard, transparent tone, giving it a sharp attack alongside a core softness that few other guitars can match. This is a guitar with a presence that goes beyond a typical Telecaster, closer to a work of art. Due to production cost and the rarity of the material, Rosewood Telecasters remain limited in number even today, and Custom Shop examples in particular are extremely rare, entirely hand-built by master craftsmen. Bring the tone that once rang out on a legendary stage back to life in your own hands, and experience Fender's craftsmanship and the beauty of rosewood for yourself.
