Crafted with a two-piece select ash body and finished in a heavily distressed Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer, this instrument offers the resonant, broken-in feel of a decades-old road warrior. Its quartersawn maple neck features a comfortable 1960 Jazz Bass "U" profile and a 1.5-inch nut width, paired with a 7.25-inch radius fingerboard and 20 medium jumbo frets for effortless movement across the registers. At its sonic heart is a Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Precision Bass pickup, which delivers the classic, thumping low-end and articulate midrange growl that defined the golden era of bass.
