Seller's description

The Fender Custom Shop 1956 Hardtail Stratocaster Heavy Relic in Super Aged Lake Placid Blue delivers authentic vintage tone and feel with select modern appointments. The 2-piece select alder body features a nitrocellulose lacquer finish that allows the wood to breathe naturally and age beautifully. Three Custom Shop hand-wound '56 Single-Coil Strat pickups provide an iconic mid-‘50s Stratocaster voicing, with the middle pickup reverse-wound/reverse-polarity for hum-cancelling performance in positions 2 and 4. The hardtail bridge with bent steel saddles offers enhanced sustain and tuning stability compared to traditional tremolo systems. Other premium features include a maple neck with a 10/56 “V” Back Shape, 7.25”-9.5” Compound Radius, 21 Jescar Vintage Frets, Bone Nut, 1-Ply Parchment Pickguard, Vintage-Style Tuning Machines with Fender Logo, American Vintage 56-58 String Tree, Deluxe Hardshell Case, Strap, Certificate of Authenticity.
