Also, please carefully read our shop policy below the guitar description! ---------------------------------- We’ve received a used 1954 Telecaster Heavy Relic, manufactured in 2018. In addition to being a lightweight model at 3.09 kg, it features a white pickguard and a black finish—a departure from the Nocaster Blonde (Butterscotch Blonde) finish commonly seen on guitars from this era. We recommend this guitar for those who want a ’50s Telecaster but aren’t keen on the Butterscotch Blonde finish, or for anyone looking to make a statement. The fingerboard specifications include a 9.5” radius, 6105 frets, and a 54” “U” neck profile. The 54” “U” profile offers a grip with slightly less thickness near the low frets compared to the 52” “U” profile. The frets have been leveled and are currently at about 70–80% of their original depth, so they’re still in great playing condition. Of course, the truss rod is in perfect working order. It is equipped with a Hand-Wound Load 51 Nocaster pickup. It is wound hotter than a standard Nocaster, offering an advantage when playing with drive. Additionally, the front pickup features Alnico 5 pole pieces and the bridge pickup features Alnico 3 pole pieces, creating a pickup that maintains a modern yet authentic Fender sound while balancing the nuances of the pickup’s tone. The wiring layout uses a current-style configuration, ensuring a natural and comfortable playing experience. The quarter-sawn maple provides excellent attack, and the Alnico 3 and 5 pickups offer great clarity when playing chords, making this a guitar that’s a joy to play. Although lightweight, it has excellent weight balance. *There appears to be some lifting of the finish
