Seller's description

Fender Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster Lush Closet Classic – Candy Apple Red – 2018 Beautiful Fender Custom Shop ’52 Telecaster, finished in Candy Apple Red nitrocellulose lacquer with Fender’s Lush Closet Classic ageing treatment. Built in June 2018, this is a superb example with a 2-piece select ash body and quarter-sawn maple neck with a substantial Large C profile. The Lush Closet Classic treatment gives the guitar the subtle appearance and character of a well-cared-for vintage instrument, rather than the much heavier ageing of a full Relic. The guitar is in excellent condition and plays beautifully. It comes with its original Fender Custom Shop tweed hard case, Certificate of Authenticity, original Shop Floor Traveler and extensive original case candy/documentation, all pictured. Factory specification highlights: 2-piece select ash body Candy Apple Red nitrocellulose lacquer finish Lush Closet Classic ageing treatment Quarter-sawn maple neck and maple fingerboard Large C neck profile 9.5” fingerboard radius 21 Narrow Tall / 6105 frets 1.650” nut width 25.5” scale length Traditional bolt-on neck construction Two single-coil Telecaster pickups Vintage-style string-through Telecaster bridge Chrome/nickel hardware Original Fender Custom Shop tweed hard case Original Certificate of Authenticity Original Fender Custom Shop Floor Traveler Original case candy/documentation Serial number R18079 Build date 28 June 2018 A fantastic-playing and extremely attractive Custom Shop Telecaster, with the Candy Apple Red finish looking particularly good against the maple neck.
