This Custom Shop-quality Telecaster features modern specifications such as a heel-cut joint, a 6-saddle bridge, and a headstock-top truss rod adjustment. Since the certificate of authenticity is missing, we’re offering this at a bargain price. If you’re looking for a Telecaster that takes quality a step beyond the American Pro series but find the Custom Shop price a bit out of your budget… here’s a Telecaster you can really really play hard! It features 22 frets, improved playability thanks to the removal of the edge on the rear pickup bridge cover, a 6-saddle bridge, a satin-finished back, and the modern specs mentioned above—all of which add a unique appeal not found in vintage-style models. Furthermore, this guitar features a bird’s-eye maple neck. As for its condition, the frets show no localized wear and retain ample height. The truss rod functions properly and has plenty of adjustment range. The tuners have been replaced with Gotoh locking tuners. The post heights are adjusted differently for wound and open strings, making these high-quality tuners capable of maintaining proper string tension while taking full advantage of the locking mechanism. Additionally, the bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan BG1400. The neck pickup is a vinyl-coated 3-conductor pickup. While this may be the pickup originally installed on this model, the details are unknown.
