Seller's description

This Fender Custom 1963 Telecaster Journeyman Relic combines a distinctive aesthetic with high-level construction specifications, offering a guitar that honors Fender's tradition while ensuring professional performance and great reliability. It features a classic alder body paired with a quartersawn maple neck with a 60s Oval "C" profile, a choice that satisfies not only traditionalists but also guitarists with a more modern approach. The fingerboard, made of rosewood, is equipped with 21 Narrow Tall / 6105 frets and a 9.5" radius. The electronics consist of a set of Fender Custom Shop Hand-wound Twisted Telecaster pickups, wired with Modern Tele wiring to deliver the iconic Telecaster sound—bright and articulate, perfect for defined, rich "twang" clean tones. The Journeyman Relic treatment gives the instrument a well-played look without excessive wear, featuring slightly aged finishes and natural signs of use that evoke the charm of an authentically "road worn" guitar, while maintaining maximum playability. A distinctive detail is the headstock painted in the same color as the body, a rare and visually striking feature that highlights the uniqueness of this Custom Shop model. ------------------------------- Body Material: Selected Alder Body Finish: Flash Coat Lacquer Neck Material: Steel, 5/4 Quartersawn Neck Profile: 60's Oval "C" Neck Finish: Nitrocellulose, Medium Tint Fingerboard Material: Rosewood, selected for darkness Fingerboard Inlays: Micarta White .250 Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm) Nut Material: Bone Nut Width: 1.650" Frets: 21, Narrow Tall / 6105 Radius: 9.50" Neck Pickup: Fender Custom Shop Hand-wound Twisted Telecaster Bridge Pickup: Fender Custom Shop Hand-wound Twisted Telecaster Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone, 3-way Selector Wiring: Modern Tele Bridge: Telecaster 58-63 Bridge Tuning Machines: Fender®/Gotoh® Vintage Style Strings: Fender Super 250R, Nickel Plated Steel (.010/.046) Hardware: Nickel/Chrome Accessories:
