Vintage 1981–1982 Fender Black and Gold Telecaster, Made in USA, serial number CE10422. This is Fender's distinctive early-1980s Black and Gold Telecaster, featuring a gloss black finish with matching black headstock, rosewood fingerboard, gold-colored hardware, Fender "F" tuners, gold neck plate, black pickguard, and the model's distinctive black-and-gold aesthetic. The guitar is in good vintage condition and shows genuine play wear consistent with its age. The black finish remains glossy and presents beautifully, particularly from the front, while close inspection reveals scratches, scuffs, small dings and areas of finish loss. The most noticeable wear includes finish loss around portions of the headstock edge, a small chip along the lower front edge of the body, surface scratching and scuffing on the back, and normal aging/wear to the gold-colored hardware. Please review all photographs closely, as they are intended to document the condition in detail. The rosewood fingerboard presents nicely, and the maple neck shows normal signs of age and use. The guitar retains the period-correct appearance and distinctive appointments associated with Fender's Black and Gold Telecaster. Serial number CE10422 is visible on the front of the headstock. Fender associates the CE-prefix serial-number range with Black and Gold Telecasters produced during the 1981–1982 period. Includes the pictured blue-lined hardshell case.
