Seller's description

Anybody who's ever picked up a bass guitar knows the name Jaco–or at least they should. Considered by many to be the greatest electric bass player of all time, Jaco Pastorious changed the game for bassists everywhere, taking it out from behind the band and giving it its own identity, one as a soloist's instrument capable of the same virtuosity and range of color as any other. His Artist Jazz Bass is a testament to that profound legacy. The select alder body has no pickguard, allowing the sleek nitrocellulose finish to shine through. The maple neck features a "C" profile with fretless, urethane-coated pau ferro "slab" fingerboard and inlaid fretmarker lines. Dual American Vintage single-coil pickups and a vintage-style bridge with reverse tuners round out the list of exquisite components on a bass that is designed to turn heads the Jaco way: with dazzling feel and visionary sound.
