Seller's description

The Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster faithfully captures one of the most celebrated chapters in Fender history. As the Stratocaster reached new heights of popularity in the early 1960s, subtle refinements to its design helped define the look, feel, and sound that players continue to chase today. From its premium alder body to its period-correct appointments, the American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster delivers an authentic vintage playing experience with the craftsmanship expected from a modern American-built Fender. Finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the alder body is paired with a maple neck carved to an authentic 1961 "C" profile and topped with a slab rosewood fingerboard featuring a 7.25" radius, 21 vintage tall frets, clay dot inlays, and vintage clay side dots. Vintage-accurate hardware, including a Pure Vintage synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles and a cold rolled steel block, Pure Vintage single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners, and a 3-ply mint green pickguard, completes the unmistakable early-'60s aesthetic. A trio of Pure Vintage '61 Stratocaster single-coil pickups captures the articulate chime, warmth, and dynamic response that made the original a legend. Whether you're after sparkling cleans, bluesy leads, or classic rock tones, the American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster delivers the unmistakable sound and feel of a vintage Fender with remarkable authenticity.
