Seller's description

The Fender American Vintage II Series brings history to life, delivering painstakingly accurate recreations of Fender’s most era-defining designs. Built with period-correct bodies, necks, hardware, finishes, and year-specific pickups, these instruments capture the tone, feel, and craftsmanship that made Fender a legend. Originally introduced as a "luxury solidbody" for jazz players, the Jazzmaster was a futuristic departure from the boxy archtops of the time. But instead of finding favor in the jazz world, it carved out its own path—becoming a go-to for ’60s surf, indie rock, alternative, and even country players. The American Vintage II 1966 Jazzmaster faithfully recreates that pivotal era with a comfortable ‘C’-shaped maple neck, a 7.25" radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard with vintage tall frets, and distinctive 1966 features like white neck binding, pearl block inlays, and a matching painted headstock (on custom colors). Fender’s patented floating tremolo, adjustable bridge with threaded saddles, and Pure Vintage ’66 Jazzmaster pickups wired into the iconic rhythm and lead circuits deliver that unmistakable Jazzmaster chime, warmth, and expressive vibrato.
