Seller's description

Please Note: This item is open-box stock. It has a crack in the back of the neck plate where it was tightened too tightly at the factory; this is purely visual. The Fender American Vintage II 1965 Stratocaster in Sonic Blue features a solid alder body finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, paired with a period‑correct maple neck in a 1965 “C” profile. Its round‑laminated rosewood fingerboard sports a 7.25″ radius and 21 vintage‑tall frets, delivering that classic mid‑’60s feel and performance. It’s equipped with three Pure Vintage ’65 “Gray‑Bottom” single‑coil pickups, wired through a traditional master volume and dual tone control layout with a 5‑position selector. These pickups are voiced to recreate the iconic clarity, chime, and dynamic response of a 1965 Strat, complemented by a synchronized tremolo featuring bent‑steel saddles. Vintage‑style “Fender Deluxe” tuners and vintage white knobs complete the historically accurate hardware setup. Overall, this Stratocaster offers a faithful recreation of the 1965 model with meticulous attention to period‑accurate specs and tone. Its combination of vintage design, authentic pickups, and nuanced finish delivers a purist’s Stratocaster experience—ideal for players seeking genuine mid‑century tone and playability.
