This Fender American Standard Telecaster with a Maple Fingerboard and transparent Natural finish is a particularly striking example of Fender's 2009 modern Tele design. This lightly played guitar features an ash body with strong figuring on the front and pronounced flowing grain on the back. It has a modern C shape maple neck, hand-rolled fretboard edges with no fret wear, and AlNiCo V pickups with staggered pole pieces. The guitar weighs about 8 pounds, and just had full set-up with 9.5-44 Primo Slinky strings.
