These limited-edition models combine the familiar Precision Bass character with modern features from the current Player II series and are available in exclusive anniversary colours. An alder body, the comfortable Modern ‘C’-shaped maple neck and the fingerboard with a 9.5"-radius and 20 medium-jumbo frets ensure a familiar playing feel on stage, in the studio or in the rehearsal room. The playability is based on modern specifications, whilst the sound remains classic: the Player Series Alnico 5 split-coil pickup delivers exactly what the Precision Bass has been prized for over the decades – rich lows, assertive mids and a direct response for every playing style. The features are rounded off by a classic 4-saddle bridge, open-gear tuners and the timeless design of what is arguably the world’s most famous electric bass.
