Seller's description

Up for sale is a superb 2019 Fender 70th Anniversary Broadcaster in the iconic Blackguard Blonde finish. Released to commemorate one of the most important instruments in Fender history, this limited anniversary model pays tribute to the guitar that started it all, faithfully capturing the spirit, feel, and tone of the original Broadcasters that laid the foundation for the modern electric guitar. This example is in Very Good condition and has clearly been cherished by its previous owner. The guitar remains exceptionally clean overall, with the vast majority of the finish, hardware, and appointments presenting beautifully. The most significant cosmetic wear is concentrated around the bottom strap button area, where the finish has suffered some fairly substantial wear. Aside from this, the instrument is in remarkably good shape and remains an incredibly attractive example. In the hands, this Broadcaster immediately feels like a special guitar. The neck has that substantial early-Fender character that fills the hand comfortably, while the overall setup makes it effortless to play. The frets are in excellent condition, and the guitar delivers the kind of lively acoustic resonance that often separates a great instrument from a merely good one. Plugged in, it offers everything players seek from a classic Blackguard-style Fender. The bridge pickup delivers plenty of snap, twang, and authority, while retaining a rich midrange character that works beautifully for everything from country and blues to classic rock. The neck position is warm and expressive, offering smooth cleans and a wonderfully vocal quality for lead work. Together, they create a versatile and inspiring instrument that feels equally at home on stage, in the studio, or simply enjoyed at home. Visually, the Blackguard Blonde finish paired with the traditional black pickguard is one of the most enduring looks in guitar history. It is understated, elegant, and unmistakably Fender.
