Seller's description

I have for sale a heavily modded '62 AVRI jazz that has been my main player for several years. This thing rocks! I got it without the original tuners, with the holes lightly sanded and non-original pickups. I thought, well, seal is broken, might as well go crazy! So you have here an original bass, neck , frets, neck plate. Thats about it. Everything else was modded to crank this guy to 11!Mods:- Klein Epic pickups- Hipshot high mass bridge- Hipshot ultralight vintage reverse tuners- Sadowsky 2 band preamp, with a new route to the side for the jack, and a route to the back for the battery. Active/passive puch/pull with vintage tone control circuit, treble and bass. *Note: Pics were from before I added the preamp. I will take more when I get a chance. - Dunlop Straplocks- Non-original case, but does have the original pickup/bridge coversMultiple dings and dents in the finish. the bridge pickup cover is cracked. I have one on order. Does absolutely everythign you could ask from a jazz bass. Vintage grind? Yep. Slap? Yep. Modern jazz bass on steroids? Yep.
