Seller's description

Certainly a players bass, this Fender Precision bass from 1966 is a great one, the ones that are as worn as this one usually are. Lots of changed parts on this one make it a great deal in the same price point as a Custom Shop model, but with the real deal. The original finish is present although very worn, and the neck has a stellar neck carve to it, a nice medium/large C that fits like a glove. Serial #283821, comes with a non original gigbag. Weighs 8.7lbs. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note. Specs: Replaced 1970 Fender pickup Replaced wiring harness Replaced pickguard Refretted Replaced bridge Added kill switch Extra holes drilled in top of bass Previous non original tuners installed Work done on heel of neck, wood by the truss rod has been routed out and plugged, truss rod recessed further into neck
