Epiphone Inspired by Gibson J-45; Aged Vintage Sunburst: Serial No: 20102304918 | Second Hand The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson J-45 brings the construction philosophy and tonal lineage of Gibson’s historic "Workhorse" acoustic to an accessible price point. Designed to recreate the character of the classic slope-shouldered dreadnought, this model bridges traditional visual appointments with internal enhancements designed for consistent live performance. Built with all-solid tonewoods, the instrument features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides. The mahogany neck is cut to a comfortable Rounded C profile and joined to the body with a tapered dovetail neck joint. It is topped with an Indian laurel fingerboard housing 20 medium jumbo frets, a real bone nut, and a matching reverse-belly Indian laurel bridge with a compensated bone saddle. Solid Tonewood Construction & Acoustic Resonance Solid Sitka spruce top delivers articulate high-end response and broad dynamic headroom. Solid mahogany back and sides provide warm, focused mid-range frequencies and deep low-end resonance. Quarter-sawn spruce bracing enhances structural stability while optimizing body vibrations. Hardware & Onboard Electronics Under-saddle Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup captures natural acoustic timbre for stage amplification. Soundhole-mounted Fishman Sonitone preamp features accessible volume and tone controls without altering the body geometry. Nickel 3-on-a-plate tuning machines with ivory buttons deliver smooth tuning response and period-correct aesthetics.
