Seller's description

The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Firebird Vintage Sunburst is a solid body electric guitar that faithfully recreates one of Gibson’s most distinctive designs. Featuring a mahogany body with through-neck construction, this model retains the classic reverse Firebird body shape originally introduced in the 1960s. Finished in Vintage Sunburst, the guitar combines a mahogany and walnut nine-ply neck with a laurel fingerboard, 24.75" scale length and 22 medium jumbo frets, providing the feel and performance associated with traditional Firebird models. The neck-through design enhances sustain and resonance while maintaining the iconic styling that has made the Firebird a recognised choice among rock, blues and classic rock guitarists. The electronics feature a pair of Epiphone ProBucker FB720 mini humbucker pickups, delivering the focused output, clarity and articulation for which Firebird pickups are known. Controls consist of individual volume and tone controls for each pickup alongside a three-way selector switch, allowing a wide range of tonal options. Additional specifications include a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece, Graph Tech nut and Epiphone Deluxe vintage-style banjo tuners, contributing to tuning stability and accurate intonation across the fingerboard. As part of the Inspired by Gibson Collection, the Epiphone Firebird Vintage Sunburst incorporates many of the key specifications associated with the original Gibson Firebird design while offering modern manufacturing standards. The combination of neck-through construction, mini humbucker pickups and classic reverse body styling delivers the distinctive Firebird appearance and performance that has remained a staple of electric guitar history for decades. Supplied with premium appointments and vintage-inspired aesthetics, this model captures the character of one of Gibson’s most recognisable electric guitars.
