[custom_html] Acoustic-electric Guitar with Spruce Top, Maple Back and Sides, Maple Neck, and Indian Laurel Fingerboard - Transparent Ebony [/custom_html] This Epiphone Dove acoustic-electric guitar proves that just because you're getting a low-priced guitar, you don't have to sacrifice elegant looks, comfortable playability, or even great tone! This affordable acoustic-electric guitar has the classic Dove style that's been a Gibson favorite since 1962. What's surprising is the use of a solid spruce top on top of maple back and sides. Plus, it has a hard maple neck with the ultra-comfortable SlimTaper D profile. Considering it also comes equipped with acclaimed Fishman electronics, it's hard to find a guitar in this class that comes close to the value - and style - of the Epiphone Dove acoustic-electric guitar. Solid tonewoods allow tone to enhance over time The Epiphone Dove uses a solid spruce top. You'll hear the difference from your first strum, with rich overtones and harmonics blooming nicely. Even better, these woods enhance in tone as the guitar "breaks in" over the years, making the Dove one instrument you'll want to hold onto for a lifetime. Fishman electronics are an excellent choice for plugged-in playing Countless professional guitarists around the world choose Fishman for their acoustic amplification, so you should be happy to see Fishman Sonitone electronics onboard the Dove acoustic-electric. The Sonitone system has volume and tone controls mounted right inside the Dove's soundhole, making it easy for you to adjust your sound. Built with classic Dove style Gibson acoustic guitars are often immediately recognizable by their hand-inlayed pickguards, works of art in themselves. You'll find the same classic style on Epiphone's Dove. The imitation tortoise shell pickguard sports the traditional Dove artwork, with pearloid Dove inlays on the Indian Laurel bridge to match.
