Finished in Super Faded/Aged Sea Foam Green over a select two-piece ash body, this Custom Built Event Favorite combines unmistakable ’70s Tele Custom attitude with exceptional Fender Custom Shop craftsmanship. The Heavy Relic lacquer finish is absolutely convincing, with the look and feel of a guitar that has spent decades under stage lights. The pickup combination makes this guitar especially versatile: a hand-wound Twisted Tele single-coil in the bridge delivers classic Tele snap and bite, while the Wide Range CuNiFe humbucker adds warmth, depth and authority at the neck. The traditional four-knob control layout lets you blend and shape both pickups exactly as you like. The quartersawn maple neck features a comfortable 1965 Strat-style “C” back profile, a 7.25”–9.5” compound radius and 21 narrow-tall frets. It feels vintage in the hand while remaining exceptionally playable. This guitar was professionally set up by The Garage and personally hand-selected from several examples.
