Wonderful top on this one that we've photographed in both studio, and natural light.   Built by the Gibson Custom Shop, this rare model takes the timeless elegance of the Les Paul Custom and gives it a bold, modern edge with its stunning translucent finish and “widow” binding.    It's in excellent condition - a few very minor blemishes if searching very closely (those marks out of sight on the back are exaggerated significantly under direct lighting but in reality they are barely visible). No breaks or repairs and everything works as it should without issue. True to its heritage, the Widow features a solid mahogany body with a carved maple cap, delivering the rich sustain, warmth, and clarity that define the Les Paul legend. The slim profile mahogany neck has an Ebony fingerboard and offers a smooth, fast-playing surface, adorned with classic block inlays and multi-ply binding. It has Gold hardware (including Grover tuners) and the distinctive split-diamond headstock inlay complete the unmistakable Custom aesthetic — luxurious, iconic, and unmistakably Gibson. Loaded with Gibson 490R and 498T Humbuckers, it produces a versatile palette of tones, from glassy cleans to roaring overdrive, all with the dynamic range and punch expected from a true Custom Shop guitar. It comes complete with its original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity and pickguard.
