I am offering a Fender Custom Shop Vintage '68 Thinline Telecaster from 2024, a crafted at the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California (USA) luxury reissue model of a 1968 Thinline Telecaster with a resonant semi-hollow mahogany body (total weight 2.87kg!), bolt-on maple neck with '60s oval “C” neck profile and 42mm bone nut, fine maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and 7.25-9.5" compound radius, two sonically hot Fender USA Custom Shop Hand-Wound '67 Tele singlecoil pickups, three-piece vintage Tele bridge with notched barrel steel string saddles and legendary Schaller F-Stamp vintage tuners in a glossy aged natural high-gloss nitrocellulose finish with white pearloid pickguard in mint condition, including black Fender CS G&G hardshell case, all manufacturer's papers, and professional setup with 10-gauge Elixir strings. This Fender Vintage '68 Reissue Thinline Telecaster from the US Custom Shop combines the classic Telecaster twang with the airy openness of a semi-hollow design, authentic as it was first introduced by Fender in 1968. With its acoustically very resonant semi-hollow mahogany body including F-hole, the guitar has an exceptionally low weight of only 2.87kg and immediately feels perfectly balanced, extremely responsive and extremely comfortable on the strap. The bolt-on maple neck with a medium-width '60s oval “C” neck profile offers a classic, pleasantly round feel that will immediately appeal to both vintage purists and modern players. The maple fingerboard with black dot inlays offers Fender tradition with modern playability thanks to the 7.25“–9.5” compound radius: chords in the lower register feel familiar and vintage, while bendings and solos in the higher registers are clean and effortless. The 21 medium vintage frets and 42mm bone nut ensure precise intonation and a very direct playing feel. Sonically, the two hand-wound Fender CS '67 Telecaster singlecoils deliver exactly what the late '60s Thinlines are famous for: wiry, open highs, cr
